Andia Mitri Renz, MD
Dr. Mitri Renz is an experienced dermatologist who excels in both academic achievements and clinical practice. Graduating summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she went on to earn her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago, where she was honored with induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Her commitment to excellence continued during her dermatology residency at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Dermatology, where she not only served as chief resident but also earned the Distinguished Housestaff Award for her all-around excellence.
In joining Basko Dermatology, Dr. Mitri Renz brings her expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to a diverse patient base, including pediatric patients. Her clinical interests are broad and include general and complex medical conditions such as annual skin cancer screening, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis as well as more complex autoimmune disorders. Dr. Mitri Renz is also skilled in performing surgical procedures on skin cancers and cysts, and cosmetic enhancements like Botox, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
An active member of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Mitri Renz is fluent in Albanian and Spanish, making her an invaluable resource for diverse communities. She places a high value on open communication and actively involves her patients in the decision-making process regarding their treatment plans.
