Sylwia is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant experienced in treating skin conditions in both adults and children. Sylwia completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She worked in Dermatology as a medical assistant for 4 years, then went on to complete her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of the Pacific in central California. After graduating from the University of the Pacific, she moved back to the Chicagoland area to start her career in dermatology. Since then, Sylwia has worked closely with Dr. Basko and is passionate about treating various skin conditions, including acne, warts and rashes, as well as screening for skin malignancies. Sylwia is fluent in both English and Polish. When not working, Sylwia enjoys spending time with her husband and her Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Sadie.
