Dermatopathology is the study of skin diseases at the microscopic level. In conjunction with the clinical examination, this allows for a more accurate diagnosis. Dr. Basko-Plluska is proud to offer this service to her patients as a board-certified dermatopathologist who has trained and worked with some world leaders in the field. Being able to see the patient in the clinic, take a biopsy then examine the tissue under the microscope prior to rendering a final diagnosis, are what make Dr. Basko-Plluska highly qualified.
