Maria Espinosa, MD

Maria Espinosa, MDDr. Espinosa is an academically accomplished dermatologist that specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, caring for patients of all ages. Graduating magna cum laude from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, she went on to complete a research year in Cutaneous Lymphoma at Northwestern University, Department of Dermatology. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. Her commitment to excellence continued during her transitional year and dermatology residency at Henry Ford Health, Medicine Department of Dermatology where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Espinosa’s clinical interests include general and complex medical conditions such as annual skin cancer screening, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis as well as more complex autoimmune disorders. Dr. Espinosa is also skilled in performing surgical procedures on skin cancers and cysts, and cosmetic enhancements like Botox, laser treatments, and chemical peels.

Dr. Espinosa values creating personalized treatment plans and ensuring each patient feels heard and cared for. She is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse group of patients. Her goal is to build lasting relationships and help patients achieve healthy, confident skin.

Outside of work, Dr. Espinosa loves spending time with her husband, Kevin, and their mini Goldendoodle, Louie.
